This tutorial was written by me in Paint Shop Pro X.

Any similarities to other tutorials is just a coincidens.

 

Materials

 

1. Open a new image 640 x 480 pixels.

2. Selections - Select All.

3. Open the tube gwyn_kit15.

4. Activate Raster 1.

5. Edit - Copy.

6. Go back to your image.

7. Edit - Paste Into Selection.

8. Selections - Modify - Contract with the number 35.

9. Selections - Invert.

10. Layers - New Raster Layer.

11. Activate the tube gwyn_kit15 and Raster 2.

12. Edit - Copy.

13. Go back to your image.

14. Edit - Paste Into Selection.

15. Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow using these settings:

16. Repeat Drop Shadow using -3 in Vertical and Horizontal.

17. Activate the bottom layer.

18. Open the tube Child-8-Maggie.

19. Edit - Copy.

20. Go back to your image.

21. Edit - Paste As New Layer.

22. Image - Mirror.

23. Move the tube to the right.

24. Open the tube gwyn_kit15 and activate Raster 6.

25. Edit - Copy.

26. Go back to your image.

27. Edit - Paste As New Layer.

28. Place the tube like this:

29. Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow using these setting:

30. Repeat Drop Shadow using -1 in Vertical and Horizontal.

31. Activate the tube gwyn_kit15 and Raster 8.

32. Edit - Copy.

33. Go back to your image.

34. Place the tube like this:

35. Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow using the same settings as in point 29.

36. Repeat Drop Shadow using -1 in Vertical and Horizontal.

37. Activate the top layer.

38. Open the tube gwyn_kit15 and activate Raster 17.

39. Edit - Copy.

40. Go back to your image.

41. Edit - Paste As New Layer.

42. Image - Resize - 80 %.

43. Activate Magic Wand with Feather and Tolerance 0 and click inside the frame.

44. Activate the tube Child-8-Maggie.

45. Edit - Copy.

46. Go back to your image.

47. Edit - Paste Into Selection.

48. Selections - Select None.

49. Image - Free Rotate using these settings:

50. Move the frame to the upper left corner.

51. Adjust - Sharpness - Sharpen.

52. Open the tube gwyn_kit15 and activate Raster 13.

53. Edit - Copy.

54. Go back to your image.

55. Edit - Paste As New Layer.

56. Image - Free Rotate using these settings:

57. Image - Resize - 80 %.

58. Move the tube to the upper part of the frame like this:

59. Activate Selection Tool - Freehand Selection (the lasso) using these settings:

60. Make a selection around the needle like this:

61. Click Delete.

62. Make one more selection on the other side of the frame and click Delete.

63. Adjust - Sharpness - Sharpen.

64. Open the tube gwyn_kit15 and activate Raster 19.

65. Edit - Copy.

66. Go back to your image.

67. Edit - Paste As New Layer.

68. Image - Resize - 80 %.

69. Image - Free Rotate using these settings:

70. Place the tube in the upper right corner.

71. Adjust - Sharpness - Sharpen.

72. Open the tube gwyn_kit15 and activate Raster 11.

73. Edit - Copy.

74. Go back to your image.

75. Edit - Paste As New Layer.

76. Image - Resize - 80 %.

77. Move the tube to the bottom left corner.

78. Adjust - Sharpness - Sharpen.

79. Open the tube gwyn_kit15 and activate Raster 9.

80. Edit - Copy.

81. Go back to your image.

82. Edit - Paste as New Layer.

83. Image - Resize - 80 %.

84. Move the tube to the bottom right corner.

85. Adjust - Sharpness - Sharpen.

86. Layers - Merge - Merge All (Flattern)

87. Image - Add Borders - 2 pixels using colour #a68479.
