This tutorial was written of me in PSP X.

Any similarities to other tutorials is just a coincidens.

 

Materials

Filter Factory Gallery D

 

1. Open a new image 400 x 450 pixels.

2. Set foreground colour to #a8331f and background colour to #575b0e.

3. Floodfill with foreground color.

4. Layers – New Raster Layer.

5. Floodfill with background color.

6. Layers – Load/Save Mask – Load Mask from Disk – find the mask HD_maskVanila.

 

 7. Merge – Merge Group.

8. Effects – 3D Effects – Drop Shadow with these settings:

 

 9. Open the tube SantaClaus_MistedByGini_11-19-06.

10. Edit – Copy.

11. Go back to your image.

12. Edit – Paste As New Layer.

13. Image – Resize to 80 %.

14. Image – Add Borders – 2 pixels with background colour.

15. Image – Add Borders – 4 pixels with a colour that isn’t in the image.

16. Activate Magic Wand with settings Tolerance 0 and Feather 0. Click in the outer frame.

17. Floodfill with pattern D_gold_fold. Angle 0, Scale 100.

18. Effects – 3D Effects – Inner Bevel with these settings:

 

19. Selections – Select None.

20. Image – Add Borders – 2 pixels with background colour.

21. Image – Add Borders – 8 pixels using a colour that isn’t in the image.

22. Activate Magic Wand an click in this frame.

23. Floodfill with pattern D_gold_fold.

24. Effects – 3D Effects – Inner Bevel with the same settings as before.

25. Selections – Select None.

26. Image – Add Borders – 2 pixels with background colour.

27. Image – Add Borders – 30 pixels with foreground colour.

28. Activate Magic Wand and click in this frame.

29. Effects – Plugins – Filter Factory Gallery D – Tunnel Tile with these settings:

 

30. Effects – Texture Effects – Fur with these settings:

 

31. Effects – 3D Effects – Inner Bevel using the same settings as before.

32. Selections – Select None.

33. Image – Add Borders – 2 pixels with background colour.

34. Image – Add Borders – 8 pixels with a colour that isn’t in the image.

35. Activate Magic Wand and click in this frame.

36. Floodfill with pattern D_gold_fold.

37. Effects – 3D Effects – Inner Bevel using the same settings as before.

38. Selections – Select None.

39. Image – Add Borders – 2 pixels with background colour.

40. Image – Add Borders – 4 pixels with a colour that isn’t in the image.

41. Activate Magic Wand and click in this frame.

42. Floodfill with pattern D_gold_fold.

43. Effects – 3D Effects – Inner Bevel using the same settings as before.

44. Image – Add Borders – 2 pixels with background colour.

45. Selections – Select All.

46. Selections – Modify – Contract – Number of pixels 66.

47. Effects – 3D Effects – Cutout with these settings:

 

 48. Layers – New Raster Layer.

49. Repeat Cutout but now use -4 in Vertical and Horizontal.

50. Selections – Select None.

51. Layers – Merge – Merge visible.

52. Open the tube bloem corner 15.

53. Edit – Copy.

54. Go back to your image.

55. Edit – Paste As New Layer.

56. Image – Resize to 80 %.

57. Activate Move Tool and move the tube to the upper left corner in the inner frame.

58. Layers – Duplicate.

59. Image – Flip.

60. Image – Mirror.

61. Layers – Merge – Merge Down.

62. Adjust – Sharpness – Sharpen.

63. Put this image aside for a while.

64. Open a new image 300 x 300 pixels.

65. Set both foreground and background colour to black.

66. Open the font Sloop Script Three. Use size 72, Font style Bold, Alignement Center, Stroke 1, and Create as Vector.

67. Write the text Happy Holidays.

68. Layers – Convert to Raster Layer.

69. Layers – Merge – Merge Visible.

70. File – Export – Custom Brush.

71. Save it with the name you want to use.

72. Now go back to your image.

73. Open Paint Brush. Find the brush you just saved. Set size to 225.

Set background colour back to green. (#575b0e)

74. Right click once with the brush in the bottom left corner.

Make sure you still have your background colour active.

75. Effects – 3D Effects – Drop Shadow using the same settings as before.

76. Merge – Merge All (Flattern).
