This tutorial was written by me in Paint Shop Pro 9.

Any similarities to other tutorials is just a coincidens.

 

Materials

 

Thank you Margit, for letting me use your wounderful tube.

 

1.  Open a new image 700 x 480 pixels.

2.  Floodfill with color #9f4562

3.  New raster layer.

4.  Selections – Load selections from disk –

“Oriental dream 1 – Maggie”.

5.  Foreground color #f2dfec and background color #9f4562.

6.  Floodfill the selection with this gradient:

 

 

7.  Lower the opacity on this layer to 50 %.

8.  Effect – Egde effect – Enchance

9.  Selections – Invert.

10.  New raster layer.

11.  Floodfill the selection with the gradient.

12.  Lower the opacity on this layer to 50 %.

13.  Effect – Egde effekt – Enchance

14.  Selections – None.

15.  New raster layer

16.   Selection – Select all.

17.   Floodfill with color #9f4562

18.  Selection – Modify – Contract with 2 pixel.

19.  Floodfill with gradient, set angle to 35.

20.  Selections – Modify – Contract with 2 pixel.

21.  Floodfill with color #9f4562.

22.  Selections – Modify – Contract with 2 pixel.

23.  Floodfill with gradient.

24.  Selections – Modify – Contract with 15 pixel.

25.  Floodfill with color #9f4562.

26.  Selections – Modify – Contract with 2 pixel.

27.  Floodfill with gradient.

28.   Selections – Modify – Contract with 2 pixel.

29.   Floodfill with color #9f4562.

30.  Selections – Modify – Contract with 2 pixel.

31.  Delete.

32.  Selections – Invert.

33.  Effects – Texture effects – Fine leather with these settings:

 

 

34.  Selections – Invert

35.  Effects – 3Deffects – Cutout with these settings:

 

 

36. Repeat cotout with vertical and horizontal -1.

37.  Select – Select none.

38.  Merge visible

39.  Copy the tube mh_oriental_mist and paste as a new layer. Place it where you want it.

40.  New raster layer.

41.  Find your font Sloop script tree and set the foreground color to #b24360 and background color #b36b82. Size 48, stroke 1.

42.  Write your text and place it in the right spot.

43.  Convert to raster layer.

44.  Effects – 3Deffects - Drop shadow with these settings:

 

 

45.  Open the tube sde_opalnr13. Use the lasso to cut some of the sharp egdes. Paste in to a new layer.

46.  Image – Flip.

47.  Put it in the corner.

48.  Blend mode Luminance.

49.  Duplicate the layer.

50.  Image – Mirror.

51.   Image – Flip.

52.  Put your watermark or write your name on it, with the same font as used before.

53.  Merge visible.

54.   Done.
