This tutorial was written by me in Paint Shop Pro X,

but can easily be done in other versions.

Any similarities to other tutorials is just a coincidens.

You will need a picture and a corner tube.

Plugins needed:

MuRa's Meister

Alien Skin Eye Candy 5 Texture here.

Simple

 

1. Open the image lillarose.

2. Duplicate - Shift+D - close the original.

3. Pick a light colour from the image to your foreground colour and a dark to your background colour.

I used #b28eca and #3d1a56.

4. Set foreground colour to gradient with these settings:

5. Image - Add Borders - 4 pixels with white.

6. Activate Magic Wand. Settings to Default with Feather and Tolerance 0 and select the frame.

7. Floodfill with the gradient.

8. Effects - 3D Effects - Inner Bevel with these settings:

9. Selections - Invert.

10. Effects - 3D Effects - Cutout with these settings:

11. Repeat Cutout with -3 in Vertical and Horizontal.

12. Selections - Select None.

13. Image - Add Borders - 20 pixels with white.

14. Activate Magic Wand with the same settings as before and select the frame.

15. Floodfill with your background colour.

16. Effects - Plugins - MuRa's Meister - Cloud with these settings:

17. Effects - 3D Effects - Inner Bevel with the same settings as before.

18. Selections - Select None.

19. Image - Add Borders - 4 pixels with white.

20. Activate Magic Wand with the same settings as before and select the frame.

21. Floodfill with the gradient.

22. Effects - 3D Effects - Inner Bevel with the same settings as before.

23. Selections - Select None.

24. Image - Add Borders - 35 pixels with white.

25. Activate Magic Wand with the same settings as before and select the frame.

26. Floodfill with the foreground colour.

27. Effects - Plugins - Alien Skin - Eye Candy 5: Textures - Swirl with these settings:

28. Effects - 3D Effects - Inner Bevel with the same settings as before.

29. Selections - Select None.

30. Image - Add Borders - 4 pixels with white.

31. Activate Magic Wand with the same settings as before and select the frame.

32. Floodfill with the gradient.

33. Effects - 3D Effects - Inner Bevel with the same settings as before.

34. Selections - Select None.

35. Open the tube pearlcnr.

36. Edit - Copy.

37. Go back to your image.

38. Edit - Paste As New Layer.

39. Use the Move Tool to place it in the upper left corner.

40. Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow with these settings:

41. Effects - Plugins - Simple - Top Left Mirror - click ok.

42. Layers - Merge - Merge All (Flatten).

Add your watermark and you are done.
